Kissey Asplund

It's hard to dislike Kissey Asplund. She has an appealing voice and a light delivery that pleasantly flutters above the meager jazzbo-meets-techno production. But still, her debut CD makes you wonder whether her goal is to make great, bold music or to make music that generally doesn't offend. She's certainly accomplished the latter, though the former is a trickier proposition.
