Koop's Magnus Zingmark and Oscar Simonsson took a five-year break before this third album, but their jazzy electronic vibe remains as fresh as ever. The opener "Koop Island Blues" immediately places you outside a Paris cafe on a sunny day, and ought to come with a free packet of Gauloises and a surly waiter. The rest of the album continues in a similar vein, but the beats lean in a Caribbean direction, with the sound of lapping waves demanding that you leave your present location and join the Swedish duo at their delicious sonic archipelago.
