Krokus

About

This Swiss Metal band made a small ripple on the radio sometime in the dark days of the Reagan era with a slow-moving power ballad called "Screaming in the Night" and its attendant video, which was psychedelic as hell. Their biggest hit was a cover of "School's Out" which nobody really remembers. Even back in the '80s nobody paid much attention to Krokus but these days, folks in the know have run out and gotten copies of their first couple records which sound like a more Metal, generic AC/DC and feature such wonderfully abhorrent song titles as "Smelly Nelly" and "Mr. 69."
