Lamb of God

Lamb of God has been making a name for themselves on the mainstream metal radar since they first appeared as Burn the Priest in 1999. Twisting up elements of black and death metal with the power-grooves of metalcore, the group produces one menacing behemoth of guitar churn and vocal rasp. Sacrament is one of those albums where you can actually hear a band hitting its stride. In 2006, Lamb of God is easily the best metal band America has to offer the general public.
