Les McCann

It's gratifying that the Acid Jazz kids are so taken with Les McCann. His style is lean and funky, but it's also subtle: the ballad version of "Sunny" included here shows off his nuanced, impressionistic ballad skills. A great single disc overview of the artist that explores much of his strongest material.
