Lightnin' Hopkins

Hopkins' quietly creeping guitar lines and prodigious sense of humor are best represented in live recordings. This 1964 concert finds the Texas blues king hypnotizing an audience of white college students. Never giving up the boogie and introducing each song with his characteristic charm, Lightnin' simply cruises along and you can hear him having a good time doing it.
