Los Toros Band

Make no mistake: there are few merengue bands so clearly in command of the dancefloor as Los Toros. In a genre full of tinkling synthesizers, Pa' La Calle's relatively organic sound is like a close, hot embrace -- set to a furious rhythm. But it's the vocals that really stand out: effortless ensemble singing, wanton shouting, and even a little tenderness.
