The Wilson sisters branch out a bit from the bombastic power balladry of Heart's last few records in this, their current side project. Lovemongers began as a tribute band and has evolved into an acceptable avenue for the duo to stretch out and experiment a bit, but also it affords them an opportunity to return to the Folk-Rock leanings of their earliest recordings. While none of this material rocks in the way "Barracuda" does, the songs are exceptionally strong and will please fans of their work.
