Bay Area MC Lyrics Born has always operated with a strong sense of fun, so it's no surprise
his first live album sounds like a party. LB pumps up his usual gruff voice on big ups like
"Callin' Out" and a seven-minute "Stop Complaining," tossing in get-up cheerleading and
acrobatic but unshowy rhymes that are also sensibly world-wise. The rare live rap record
that works -- and as good as Lyrics Born's other, slept-on LPs.
