Malevolent Creation

Malevolent Creation's first record without original singer Brett Hoffman found the band continuing to refine their approach. The Floridian (via Buffalo) death metal act tosses in some decidedly "alterna" riffs, perhaps in a bid to reach a wider audience. But despite that small blip, this is a record by one of death metal's overlooked bands in their prime. Worth a listen.
