Masters of Reality on Sunrise on the Sufferbus feature a radically different lineup from the one that produced the group's now-legendary debut. With songwriting partner Tim Harrington leaving to form the Bogeymen, singer and guitarist Chris Goss shifts away from macabre (and often bruising) art-rock to playfully eccentric blues-rock, showcasing the dexterous rhythms of new drummer Ginger Baker. Despite critical acclaim, Goss and company wouldn't release a follow-up for another six years.
