Two college grads from Brooklyn who started playing music as a joke -- their first show consisted of peforming the Ghostbusters theme for 20 minutes -- MGMT have turned into a respectable band amongst finicky indie rock circles after the release of their 2007 debut, Oracular Spectacular. Rhapsody talked with member Ben Goldwasser about why they no longer go by "The Management," their invention of the new genre "Future '70s" and how Barack Obama got onto their list of dream producers.
