Mike Therieau

With ample help from chanteuse Paula Frazer, Greg Moore of the Moore brothers and six-string samurai David Immergluck (Counting Crows), Oakland's Mike Therieau bleeds into his songs with the pained soul of a man who has lived, loved and barbecued more than most men. Therieau's solo debut sounds marinated in Memphis country-soul a-la Eddie Hinton (with a splash of Tony Joe White's twang-funk). His powerful voice channels the late, great Steve Marriott in some moments and a young Terry Reid in others.
