Sweet and delicate, Mirah's voice still manages to make a powerful impact on her second full-length album. Enveloped in passion and fragility, Mirah best demonstrates her emotional demeanor with "Recommendation" and "Mt. St. Helens," each with its own raw story to tell. Tracks like "The Garden" and "Apples In The Trees" illustrate the songwriter's versatility in adapting her voice to a quicker tempo, nonetheless retaining her sensitive articulation. With unique instrumentation including a xylophone and autoharp backing her soft words, this is a fine work from the indie artist.
