Missy Higgins' debut LP treads Kate Bush/Tori Amos waters, with moody piano, smoky vocals and poignant lyrics that seem pulled from the darker pages of a post-adolescent's diary. The aurally panoramic "Ten Days" and the folksy pop of "Scar" are true standouts.
