Six years after the release of MMJ's epic second album, At Dawn, Darla Records re-releases this collection of demos originally included with the album's first 2,500 CDs and 1,000 LPs. This second Darla-curated rarities package also features demos from the band's 1999 debut and a few other tracks from frontman Jim James' personal archive. At Dawn and Tennessee Fire Demos recaptures MMJ's intimate side, unearthing the band's early, irreverent sound often forgotten amid their neo-psychedelic and improv-heavy live shows.
