The mere fact that Mytown met in Digges Lane school for the performing arts in Dublin, Ireland, means they are the living, breathing version of Fame: One guy taught dancing (he'd be Leroy), another one acted (Coco), and apparently, all four sing and play instruments (Bruno, Angelo and the rest of the cast). It'd only be natural to lump Mytown in with 'NSYNC and the like, but the band's slightly more soulful sound is more on par with Boyz II Men -- only not quite as accomplished.
