Neil Finn

Like Paul Weller, Neil Finn is as big in the rest of the world as he is largely unknown in the States. A massive collection of alt rock royalty (everyone from The Smith's Johnny Marr to Radiohead's Ed O'Brien to Eddie Vedder) participated in this concert celebration of Finn's career, from Split Enz and Crowded House to The Finn Brothers and his heralded solo work. Superb.

Neil Finn may have title billing, but it's definitely a group effort on his disc, recorded live in
New Zealand last April. And it's a Whitman's Sampler of hits past and future from the former
Split Enz and Crowded House member, as well as a few tunes from his assorted, and
distinguished, collaborators, from Johnny Marr and Eddie Vedder to Lisa Germano and Tim
