Nicholas Jonas

"Dear God" successfully plays on the same heartstrings as Billy Gilman's "One Voice" or Richard Klender's shamelessly melodramatic "Dear Mister Jesus." The style is much closer to Gilman since Jonas is also a power-pop balladeer working with a preteen voice. No loss there -- seasoned artists could take lessons from this kid. Smooth and entirely devoid of cliché.
