Non is the alter-ego of (in)famous artist, occultist and tiki culture champion Boyd Rice. Throughout his long career, from the mid-70s to the present, Boyd explored the outer realms of electronic music. Along with John Cage, he was one of the first to consider the turntable an instrument, and Easy Listening is full of cacophonous loops, tortured squeals and experimental turntable "scratching." Sure, it's easier to admire this music than it is to actually listen to it, but fans of early industrial and left-field electronica need to check this out.
