These Georgia-born Christian metalcore mainstays flirt with different styles and stronger melodies on their fourth full length, their second with vocalist Cory Brandan and first with drummer Chris Raines. Produced by Ross Robinson, the album sees Norma Jean collaborating on songwriting and vocals with Chino Moreno of Deftones ("Surrender Your Sons"), Page Hamilton of Helmet ("The Opposite of Left and Wrong") and Cove Reber of Saosin (various tracks including "And There Will Be a Swarm of Hornets"), leading to departures into dream pop, alt metal and an experimentally melodic vibe.
