Old Man's Child

About

With so much Black Metal setting sail from Norway and conquering the international scene, discerning the True from the False, and the trend seekers from the devout is a difficult chore. But make no mistake, Old Man's Child are True. They do not create vampiric operas like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth, but their songs are every bit as epic. Elaborate orchestrations bring together the mighty riffing that once came from England in the early 1980s with guitar terror that has been stirring in Scandinavia for the better part of this decade. Haunting keyboards stir up dusty, nostalgic atmospheres. Scratchy, earthen voices scream words immersed in the traditions and myths of their homeland. Black pagan blasphemies.
