Ozomatli

Ozomatli's fourth studio album finds the L.A. collective further toning down the hip-hop side of their sound in favor of a versatile Latin-pop-funk fusion. After more than a decade together and a constantly shifting lineup, Ozo has evolved into a percolating, horn-driven party machine, relentlessly upbeat but with a strong social conscience. "After Party" is an appropriate anthem and the title track is a reinvigorated missions statement, but it's the ecstatic Latin rave-up "La Temperatura" that proves exactly what these guys are (still) capable of.
