Named after the opulent Paramour Mansion in Silverlake, a slick enclave of Los Angeles, The Paramour Sessions continues Papa Roach's heavy-handed pummeling of the masses. No reason why fans should shy away from this one; it's got the same searing guitar ferocity and aggressive melodicism as previous albums. Sorta singer/sorta rapper Jacoby Shaddix leads a band that's still tightly wound and willing to pounce with fury on his punchy, barbed wire hooks.
