Pat Travers

About

Looking a bit like Chachi from "Happy Days," Canadian-born Pat Travers moved to London in the mid-'70s and went to work playing macho Blues Rock with dexterous, squealing leads that young Okie hotshots and hoodlums everywhere claimed as their soundtrack. Between labels from '84 to '90, Travers didn't release any music; his second coming in '91 found Travers steering away from his former commercial blues rock sound to play more traditionally rooted roots rock. With song titles like "Born a Rocker," "Rockin'," and "Snortin' Whiskey" it's evident Travers means business in his songs as much as in his rebellious lifestyle.
