Rhapsody

Desmond recorded often with the MJQ's Percy Heath and Connie Kay (his favorite drummer), but he finally got to sit down with the full quartet for this 1971 Christmas concert. The results are even better than expected, with Milt Jackson's vibes and Desmond's sax combining like gin and vermouth.
