A DJ, producer, and kung-fu fanatic, Paul Nice is one of the illest beatmakers working today. Growing up in New York, he taught himself to cut and sold early beat tapes out of his trunk. After relocating to San Francisco, he began laying down tracks for the likes of Q-bert, Rasco, and Foreign Legion. He's also released several volumes of his infamous 5 Fingers of Death breaks records, and the Drum Library series of quality percussion loops. He continues to produce for a wide variety of heads from both coasts, and in 2001 released Choice Cuts, a fifteen-track collection featuring the Biz, Masta Ace, Moka Only, and others.
