Plastilina Mosh

Plastilina Mosh have always had a slightly aggressive approach to their damaged pop -- these guys don't mind annoying you with in-jokes and goofy vocals. So you get songs that sound like Nelly rapping in Spanish and then getting assaulted by rock guitar, or mambo nuevo mocking celebrity culture. But these guys can't fool us: When the bromas subside (which takes about half the album), their cool intelligence emerges -- particularly on two collaborations with Adrian Dargelos of Babasonicos and the '80s-style rave-up "Pervert Pop Song."
