Van Hunt's 2006 album, On the Jungle Floor, was a revelation, taking Prince's funk and Rick James' dancefloor flotsam into the new millennium with crunchy rock and power ballads. Imagine N.E.R.D. with actual sex appeal or Lenny Kravitz without the cheesy pop caveats. It sounds very disparate, but it'll make more sense once you take a look at this mix tape that Van Hunt compiled specifically for Rhapsody. Van Hunt's taste ranges from Nat King Cole to Neil Young, and all points in between.
