Brooklyn's Yeasayer are bringing world music flair -- think Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, and Talking Heads -- back to the indie scene. Their sound fuses live instruments with synthesizers and electronics, integrating moody rhythms with their own 21st century mysticism. Rhapsody asked the band to share a few of its inspirations and influences, from American gangsta rappers to French classical pianists.
