Author's Comments
Joel Dorn was a noted jazz and soul producer who worked for Atlantic Records and ran many fantastic labels (the last being Hyena Records). Dorn won Record of the Year Grammies for his work on two Roberta Flack classics, recorded the Allman Bros., and discovered Hubert Laws and many others. He believed in a "live-in-the-studio" sound and he was was also a tireless promoter of timeless music. He will be missed.
