It's easy for some friends to pick up instruments and call themselves a band, but what do you then call the band? You could pick a color and an animal, or put "the" in front of any arbitrary noun. But the easiest way to get a band name is to use an admired band's lyrics. Here are some examples of band names borrowed from existing lyrics and song titles.
