Young Fresh Fellows and Minus 5 frontman Scott McCaughey has been a fixture in the Seattle music scene since the early 80s. With both his bands, he mines pop music of 60s and keeps it quirky/punky. His later work with The Minus 5 is more meloncholy and features a rotating who's who of alternative rock: Peter Buck, Robyn Hitchcock, Robert Pollard, The Posies, Wilco, Colin Meloy, Presidents of the USA, and many more. McCaughey also tours as a musician with R.E.M.
