Rhapsody

Candycoatedwaterdrops is fresh "chick rock" that sounds suspiciously like pop at times. The instruments stay low profile, allowing Plumb's soft, reaching voice to make her lyrics feel like contemplative diary entries. While "God-Shaped Hole" got the most airtime, the singer shows her more personal side on tracks like "Damaged" and the bluesy, emotive title track.
