Pontiak

Most hard rock bands make music for its simple pleasures: feedback, groovy grooves and megaton riffage. But others make hard rock because it's the only way for them to communicate about all the dark matter eating away their blood cells. This is what Pontiak is all about. The trio's debut album, Sun on Sun, creeps through a foggy, noir midnight in search of the common ground between Crazy Horse, Black Sabbath and (yes) the Doors. Moody isn't even an option here. More like desperation, sadness and anger.
