Primal Scream

Primal Scream deliver an eighth studio album that's a near-perfect amalgam of electronic music and future rock 'n' roll. My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields helps to perpetuate the band's affinity for rock with an otherworldly six-string guitar wash, while Andy Weatherall pumps in bionic beats for the dancefloor.

Their songs are often melodically marginal and lyrically second-hand, but Primal Scream
