On this 1979 effort, Raffi makes a trip to the grocery store seem like an adventure worthy of a Jules Verne byline. The majority of the songs deal with edible items, but Raffi also drops in the occasional spirited take on a Leadbelly tune. Smart, fun, tuneful -- these folk songs exemplify some of the best music for children.
