This is a welcome collection for those who have worn down their vinyl Tallis Fantasia recording. It includes several works off the beaten path for Williams fans and features an oboe concerto, a take on the concerto grosso form, a partita written for two full orchestras and a folk song suite (listen to the spirited brass imbibed "Seventeen Come Sunday.") This is a world class orchestra and conductor performing works by one of the greatest British composers.
