Description of Miami Bass

Although it's now produced worldwide, Miami Bass' thundering bass, super-fast beats, and repetitive choruses about partying and sex will forever be associated with the town of its birth. The style is unique in hip-hop: lyrics are practically an afterthought, and cutting-and-scratching DJs rarely enter the mix. Miami Bass artists concentrate on making partying music.
