Ray Conniff

The hit title track was a vocal version of Maurice Jarre's theme to Dr. Zhivago and it helped propel Conniff to the top of the album charts for the first time since the early '60s. Sales be damned, this is actually one of Conniff's more annoying efforts: his suburban zombie choir ruins mod hits to such an extent that this may only work to remove unwanted guests.
