Rhapsody

The most compelling material on There's Something About Remi is the most personal. The requisite club bangers ("Conceited") and sugary R&B numbers ("Feels So Good") are adeptly executed, but Remi is at her most gripping when she's dealing with the emotional fallout following an abortion on "What's Going On" or chronicling a hit-and-run accident on "Crazy."
