Radio favorites Republica stormed the charts in both the U.K. and the U.S. with their Top-10 hit "Ready to Go." Inspired by such 1980s Dance Pop acts as the Pet Shop Boys and New Order, this five-piece rock/electronica hybrid band create an intense alternative sound that makes a strong appeal to club culture. A controlled mass of guitars and beats features the strong vocal stylings of Nigeria-born Saffron backed by seasoned musicians in a style similar to that of the Sneaker Pimps and Garbage.
