Richard Smallwood

One of the draws of this LP is Smallwood's style of melding gospel and classical sounds. He opens with a purely classical piano prelude that slips seamlessly into a signature gospel number then slides through R&B and smooth, exultant urban gospel from there. "Angels" alone covers several subtle genre differences. Indulge deeply in the jazz instrumental version.
