Description of Boogie Rock

Through the ages, the term "boogie" has almost meant too many things, from shorthand for the Boogie-Woogie piano style to a slang term for Disco dancing. But Boogie Rock, brothers and sisters, was uncut 1970s party and jug wine drinkin' music: Blues music stripped down to elemental power riffs and played very loud. Think Foghat, or Status Quo.
