Ruben Studdard

Album number three finds American Idol season two winner Ruben Studdard continuing with his hot mix of steamy slow jams and contemporary R&B ballads. The songs on The Return overflow with soul (he's not called the "velvet teddy bear" for nothing) and the production is flawless, although a couple of uptempo numbers would help mix things up a bit. Highlights include the Ne-Yo penned winners "Make Ya Feel Beautiful" and "Rather Just Not Know," as well as "What Tha Business Is."
