With both instrumental and vocal tracks, this album represents a proper, intelligent way to unite hip-hop and dance music. The Trip-Hop tracks display dynamic turntablism a la DJ Shadow, though they're less psychedelic. The lyrical tracks emerge slightly out of the underground styles of their 1998 release Classic Tales.
