After their debut caused a few double takes, listeners lamented it was unlikely Sanctus could improve on such a bang-up start and were destined for a sophomore slump. This LP annihilated that prediction, topping countless best-of-2004 lists. Vocals are mature, drums inspired, guitars a party-in-a bag and the rock sounds like the band's been touring together for decades.
