A four-man R&B group, Shai, are best remembered for their debut single and biggest hit, 1992's "If I Ever Fall In Love Again." The title track from their first LP, the a capella love jam topped the charts and made them instant stars. Their style of minimalist, low-key beats topped by smooth harmonies and romance drenched lyrics endeared them to plenty of female fans, though subsequent albums ('95's Blackface and '99's Destiny) failed to match the commercial success of their debut. They released a greatest hits collection in 2001.
