Slough Feg

Fans of old school metal and of the boarding and seizure of hapless merchant ships will want to check out the time-warped fantasy/power metal of these San Franciscan weirdos. Slough Feg play a galloping traditional metal basically no one besides fellow unknowns Brocas Helm are bothering (or confused enough) to keep alive. Such songs as "Man Out of Time," "Agony Slalom" and "I Will Kill You/You Will Die" may sound better live, with guitarist Mike Scalzi ribboning leads right in your face, but that doesn't mean you can't flip this on next time you are in a swordfight.
