Description of TV Soundtracks

Television soundtracks are music created to accompany the broadcast of television programs, including theme songs (John Sebastianýs song for Welcome Back Kotter), background music (Angelo Badalamentiýs music for Twin Peaks) and music performed by the actors themselves (Vonda Sheppardýs urban blues in Ally McBeal). Often, the music becomes a virtually dominant character on the show, as with Jonathan Wolff's slap bass-heavy music for Seinfeld.
